Update: A Post to Keep You Posted

Hello everyone. I hope this finds you well. I don't want to send out too many notifications since it annoys me to get them. It's the end and the beginning of the months of January and February. Since the beginning of the year we've been "conditionally closed" and "open by appointment only" but still baking for “Saturdays in the driveway”. We've done this to take a rest, clean and reorganize the store. It has been a dream to some and a nightmare to others, us included. It has, however, been working surprisingly well. Our customers have been calling and coming to get their stuff so we are going to continue on that basis for a while since we're still cleaning and reorganizing. For those who haven't tried it yet, this is kind of how it works. Everything we have is on our website (mimosabisbee.com). When you find or if you know, what you're looking for, give us a call at the store 520-432-3256 or text me at 520-335-4064 (not good for phone calls). We can tell you if we have it and when we can be here for you to get it. We try to be here our usual old hours (Noon to 6 Tue-Sun) and if we're not or can't get to the phone, we won't be gone for long. The website has photographs of every area in the store and lists of what's there. We're still working on updating those inventory lists so please do ask us if we have it first. Every good update needs a bulleted list:

  • We still have local eggs when the hens are laying.

  • I still take care of over 100 culinary herbs and spices in bulk to fill your spice jars.

  • We still carry lots of bulk items (see the list)

  • We still have my homemade sausage and Continental Sausage's Bratwurst products in our freezers.

  • We still have newspapers, wine, beer, candy, tobacco, and...ICE CREAM!

  • We have toilet paper (because we limit it)

  • Produce is down to the basics but we still keep some fresh goods (onions, garlic, carrots, celery, tomatoes, bananas, etc.)

Please let me know if you are interested in any of the deli items (cheese, steaks, salads etc.) and if there's enough interest, I will try to find a way to make them available, maybe on a certain day. There was enough interest, so ordered an Angus sirloin that I plan to cut sometime next week so, if you're someone who wanted a fresh steak, let me know and I'll let you know when.

I also miss making pastries so, again, if you're interested, let me know and I would love to make some. I can post what I've done in this blog and/or notify those interested

Thank you all for your patience and support as we try our “new way of walkin'”

Ralph
